Jef McGlashan

As the self-declared ‘Mayor of Fairley,’ Jef is a face many people in the Yass Valley will recognise and a leader and driver of community spirit in the region – making him a perfect fit for Windrose. As the Executive Operations Manager, he provides crucial support to the Directors and ensures seamless daily operations across all arms of the Windrose businesses.

With a diverse career spanning administration, sales, service, and events management, Jef brings a wealth of experience to his role. From securing sales in a high-volume contact centre to holding managerial roles in training and HR, Jef has become an expert in all core areas of running a successful business.

During the height of the COVID lockdowns, Jef worked in the medical industry, gaining invaluable experience in managing stress and navigating challenging situations. His calm and friendly demeanour, coupled with his exceptional ability to handle pressure, exemplifies his commitment to doing ‘great work for good people’.

Outside of work, Jef is an avid dog lover and community leader, taking charge of local events that bring people together. He has a knack and love for Fundraising and Charity, whether it be him running an actual marathon around Murrumbateman for Little Athletics, keeping A Fairley Scary Halloween free for his community, financial support for the Murrumbateman Eagles AFL team, or tirelessly propping up the local Wine industry by sharing a bottle with friends. An easy choice to align with our values, Jef provides an invaluable contribution to the company’s core mission of leading community focussed growth in the Yass Valley and beyond.
