Windrose Property has welcomed real estate veteran Graham Bush to the team, bringing a wealth of knowledge, expertise and passion for property.
Known to many as ‘Bushy, Graham called time on life as a sheep farmer 13 years ago, reinventing himself as a successful real estate agent.
With his personable nature, good sense of humour, natural sales ability and leadership, Graham has not only forged a solid reputation in real estate, but has gone on to become one of the most well respected identities in the industry.
“Basically, I had a farm and after the last big drought I sold the farm and moved into a career in real estate. It was the best thing I ever did – and it was by pure accident that I made the change,” Graham said.
Since then, he has amassed more than 1000 successful property deals across Canberra and the Yass Valley. In his first year alone, he made 72 sales and has gone on to sell the full gamut of properties from $5 million farms to one-bedroom units for $300,000.
“After selling over 1000 properties, I’ve worked with a lot of different people and I don’t know how many times I’ve driven up in my ute and people like the fact that you’re a ‘real person’,” he said.
“There’s nothing flashy about me. I’m just a down-to-earth bloke who enjoys a yarn and loves selling real estate.
“I don’t think you ever retire from the real estate business. When you’re selling someone’s largest asset, there’s a lot of trust that goes with it. If people trust you, they will give you the business.”
A Murrumbateman local, who originally hails from Yass, Graham is also a father of five, grandfather to six and more recently became a great grandfather. A lover of sport and a social butterfly, he’s also partial to a round of golf and a cold beer.
Windrose Property Principal and Licensed Agent Sam McGregor said Graham brought excellent business acumen and unparalleled real estate nous to the agency, with a reputation built on trust, loyalty, hard work and a no-nonsense approach.
“Graham has formed genuine, long-lasting connections across Canberra and the Yass Valley, and is a clear leader in the industry,” Sam said. “His expertise, straight-shooting disposition and ability to connect with people from all walks of life makes him a very welcome addition to our team.”
